Love the music, but....

Today we visited our first Leander church. We heard so many wonderful things about a local church and were anxious to attend. Yes, it is bigger than any church we have attended before, but we are getting used to things like that. The Sunday school class was great. In worship, the music was awesome with a full band, electric guitar, keyboards, drums, clapping, contemporary worship music, I LOVED it. Michael leaned over and said "should I hold up a lighter?" Despite his comment, I was hopeful we had found our church, I am not looking forward to many church visits, I am more than ready to find a church home. Then, during the message, the pastor (who was in a polo collared shirt, pants, and tennis shoes) sat down on the stage. Yes, he sat down. Criss Crossed Applesauced right there in front of the front pew. He preached from this position for 63 seconds. I looked over at hubby, I made note of the height and position of his eyebrows, the level of his reading glasses tenuously positioned on the tip of his nose, and the level, shape, and direction of his smirk. Looks like we will continue to visit churches.

hey what's up not much here same old, same old. About the church thing it is not what you look or how the others look as long as you are worshiping GOD the way HE wants you to worship, you know as for the music you know GOD likes you to worship in different ways, HE even likes it when you clap and dance before HIM (not line dancing Michael) who knows maybe he does like line dancing. Tell Michael you can not shot that gun in the city limits down there. B-WAG you had a ex client come into the office today and he wanted your phone # so he can call you and thank you for all you did for him initials(LC)he was very appriciated for everything. don't worry i did not give your # out...
